Services

The quality of the result is as good as its sample. Correct sampling ensures a representative sample and a correct picture of the situation at that point in time. Different sampling techniques are used for different sampling points and sampling of products according t SANS standards.

With the upcoming promulgation of South African food safety regulation that will aid in food poisoning prevention, it is important for all food handlers to focus on a Food Safety System (FSS). We assist food handlers by providing training and ensure that they have the ability to implement the requirements of FSS according to HACCP, FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000, GFSI and Global G.A.P. Other value added FSS services include GAP audits, internal audits and hygiene audits.

We also aim to combat youth unemployment, contribute to industrialised revitalization and decrease the number of students who do not complete their studies in South Africa, by provision of in-service training opportunities leading to qualification fulfilment and graduation. Other value add services include consulting and training services. In the training leg of the business, LSS offers training on ISO and food safety standards, whereas on the consulting side of the business, the company provides technical mentorship expertise to entrepreneurs who are in a space of product development.

Customer complaints are entertained through corrective and preventive action process. The company also commits to providing a complete range of training required by its employees to deliver on their assigned responsibilities. This include orientation training, job and equipment related training, managerial and quality system training. To ensure that our employees are continuously aligned to LSS updated policies and procedures, such training is provided on an ongoing basis.
